RTI specializes in bringing your out of date instrument up to date with the latest software and interface packages available at a fraction of the cost of replacing the system. Instrument Services
RT Instruments, Inc. offers support on a wide variety of instruments. This includes, but is not limited to: Q2000, Q400, Q500, Q800, DSC 7, etc. Trained technicians have over 100 years of combined experience and are available for services ranging from troubleshooting over the phone or via email to full-service instrument contracts. Service plans are designed to keep Customer labs of all sizes in working order. See below for some of our most popular Contract options.
Platinum Full Service Agreement
A premium support plan designed to provide you with the highest priority response time along with the most comprehensive protection available in the industry.
Features:
** Comprehensive Protection which includes all parts, labor and travel to your facility for a period of one contract year. Furnaces, sensors, balance beams (thermal analysis units), air bearings, transducers, and motors (rheological units) are limited to one set per unit per contract year.
** One preventative maintenance visit per contract year to include full systems check, diagnostics, calibration and systems certification.
Standard Service Agreement
Standard service support package designed to provide you with the necessary coverage of your instrument needs.
- Comprehensive protection for a period of one contract year which includes all labor and travel to your facility.
- One preventative maintenance visit including calibration and system certification.
General Preventative Maintenance
One preventative maintenance service visit to include labor, total systems check, alignment, lubrication, measuring/verifying all reference voltages in the electronics and power supply systems, and provide routine maintenance, including running of a standard reference material.
Calibration and System Verification
Includes calibration and system certification and running a standard reference material.
**Please note that all service agreements are only provided for instruments that are in perfect working order prior to the execution of the service agreement. Any damage to the products covered under a service agreement that occurred prior to the execution date of the agreement is not covered by the Contract. The Customer is responsible for any cost associated with bringing the product to working order.
***In the event of a customer’s business closure, any existing contracts, agreements, work orders, etc. are nontransferable.
Service/Repair
Fast and friendly basic service or repair call to fix instrument problems. Includes hourly labor to perform service requested, parts if needed, and additional shipping when required.
Diagnostics
RT Instruments, Inc. offers multiple avenues for diagnosing instrument problems. When possible, technicians will attempt to diagnose instrument issues via telephone and email support to save the Customer the cost of a service visit. Customers also have the option of shipping instruments to the RT Instruments, Inc. headquarters in Woodland, CA to receive a complimentary evaluation. Once the evaluation is complete, the technician will provide the Customer with the best solution to get the instrument back in working order.
Upgrades
Hardware upgrades for instruments are designed to improve productivity, reliability, and to get older systems operating to more current compliance. Includes replacement of computer control system with upgraded hardware, new interface, and component installation.
Specialized Support
RTI can and will assist with the development of specialized procedures such as IQOQ Procedures, GMP Practices, SOP`s, etc.
Training
System training is available for all products sold and should be scheduled with the Engineering Support Team.
Equipment
Extensive on-hand product line of new and refurbished laboratory instruments is available to satisfy all laboratory environments.
Parts
Extensive on-hand inventory at competitively low prices. Inventory includes many manufacturer`s “hard to get” discontinued items.
